Day 0: Arrive & Meet
Day 1: Entering narnia
Day 1 we will take the fairytale of a train up through the glorious waterfalls of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Entering through the portal within the mountain we will exit at the top of the Jungfraujoch, one of the World Heritage sites. After exiting the building we will take a short skin to the Ober Mönchjoch. Then we will ski down the Ewigschneefäld Glacier and summit Trugberg Südgipfel mountain and ski a wonderful corn run down to the base of the Konkordia hut. Brace yourself for 200ft of the infamous swiss stairmaster to get yourself to hut.
Arrive in Interlaken and settle into the vibrant culture of the Swiss Alps. Today is all about tying up loose ends, recovering from travel, and preparing for the climb ahead. Take time to manage jet lag, relax, and explore the charming streets, cozy cafés, and stunning alpine scenery that make Chamonix a true paradise on earth. Dinner tonight will be a good intro into European cuisine.
Day 2: Kranzberg
From the hut you can see the magnificent Kranzberg. We will ski up down its flanks. Enjoying better views of Dreickhorn and Aletschhorn. We will return back to the Konkoria Hut for a second night, and a chance to admire our line of the day.
Day 3: Grunhornlüke to Finsteraarhornhütte
We will move base camp today, by going over the Grunhorlüke pass. We will find a fun line to ski on the way to the Finsteraarhornhütte.
Day 4: Large Ski-Mo Day
Today we have options to go as big or as small as the group can handle. For a more mountaineering experience we can try to summit Finsteraarhorn. And for a more challenging ski run we can go for the Agassizhorn. And for a smaller objective the Wyssnollen is a great objective.
Day 5: More Finsteraarhorn Adventures
Today we have options for skiing whatever our bodies and minds can envision. Hopefully by now we have gotten a lay of the land, and point to our dream line.
Day 6: Mission to the Oberaarjoch Hut
Today is a wonderful adventure day over the Gemschlicke pass over to the precarious Oberaarjoch Hut. Hopefully we will have plenty of time to apres and enjoy this more remote side of the range.
Day 7: Down to the Valley
Today we have options for a short ski. While there are many exit strategies down to the valley we will pick which ever one is best based on the snow conditions. From here we will take a bus or shuttle back to Interlaken. Enjoying one more night the world that inspired the Lord of the Rings.
