Day 0: Arrive & Meet

Day 1: Regufio Pizzini

If weather cooperates we will ski down the 9000’ Mer de Glace and take the Montenvers train back to town. Along with spending time at altitude we will review some of the basic skills needed for the trip. As well as make some great turns down an incredible backdrop. And if we are lucky, maybe ski through some ice tunnels.

Arrive in Santa Caterina Valfurva and settle into the vibrant culture of the French Alps. Today is all about tying up loose ends, recovering from travel, and preparing for the climb ahead. Take time to manage jet lag, relax, and explore the charming streets, cozy cafés, and stunning alpine scenery that make this place a true paradise on earth. Dinner tonight will be a good intro into Italian cuisine.

Day 2: Gran Zebru

Day 3: Suldenspitze

ski over to Casati col and down to Solda ski resort to Zulfahutte

Day 4: Cevedale or Pascale

Day 5: Rosablanche

From the Mont Fort Hut we will climb up to Rosablanche. Summitting early and have an amazing ski down to the Prafleuri and if we are lucky we can make it in time to enjoy a traditional Rösti.

Day 6: Dix

Today is one of those hard days where the skiing is more about the scenery than the fall line. We will traverse around Lac du Dix and eventually up to the hut.

Day 7: Vignettes

From the Dix hut we will climb over Mount Arolla and enjoy an epic descent down to the Vignettes hut.

Day 8: Zermatt

A big push and finish to the epic traverse. We will cross 7mi of glacier, then drop almost 7000ft down to Zermatt. After taking a quick shower we can finally sit down, sip an Aperol spritz and enjoy the comfort that our body can finally rest.
